I was playing a round with some business associates when I was confronted with a difficult 65 foot putt on a green filled with buried elephants. As I lined up the putt, I was filled with a sudden certainty I could and would sink it – a rare sense of total confidence the ball would drop in the cup. I looked at the rest of the foursome and said "Gentlemen, I will make this putt. I am so certain of it, I will say, out loud my golf mantra – something I only do when I know it's going in the hole." So I said "My name is Jeff Donnell, my heart is pure, I am invincible," struck the ball firmly and walked off the green and listened to the distinct sound of the ball hitting bottom. The stunned silence of my playing partners was deafening. Ballzee move, baby!
