I was having a particularly bad few holes during a round a few months back. On a Par 4 I hit my tee shot a little to the right and it ended up about 60 yards from the green with a tree right in the path of what would be a straight shot. Since I wasn't looking to protect any great score, I decide to go for it. When I first started playing I would often slice the ball like many people do. Since then I've fixed the issue with my swing but this seemed like a good time to revert back to my old ways. I lined up aiming left of the tree and the green. My golfing buddies assumed I was just going to chip out into the fairway. I opened the face of my pitching wedge, took a full swing and slapped across the ball. Just as planned (which NEVER happens!) the ball came out from behind the tree and sliced hard the right, bounced in front of the green and finished 4 feet from the hole for a solid Birdie putt! You can lay up or you can GET BALLZEE – this BALLZEE Play added a new shot to my game.
